Thaipusam festival, Singapore

A man taking part in the Thaipusam festival in Little India in Singapore. The Thaipusam procession involves a lot of body piercing. Hooks going through the skin of his back are attached to the ropes, so he is dragging the altar wagon forward. His shoes are also made of nails.
